Steven R. Simms – President
Expertise: Life, disability income, and long-term care insurance
Steven has been affiliated with and the general manager of the Agency for the Professions since 1984. His insurance career began in 1979 with the Paul Revere Insurance Company, specializing in providing disability income protection and life insurance to professionals and business owners. He is a life-long resident of Albuquerque and a graduate of the University of New Mexico.
Kevin V. Pelletier – Group Benefits Consultant
Expertise: Health care plans, health savings and reimbursement accounts, dental, vision, group life and disability, voluntary benefits
Kevin has more than 30 years of experience as an employee benefits broker and consultant in the New Mexico business community. He entered the insurance industry at Penn Mutual general agency, and has held positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico and international consulting firms Aon and USI. Kevin has operated an independent practice since 2000 and joined the Agency for the Professions in 2001. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
Frank E. Lucero – Group Benefits Consultant
Expertise: Group & individual health care, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability
Working primarily with health care coverage, Frank is a 28-year veteran of the insurance industry. In leadership positions at the Lovelace Health Plan and Presbyterian Health Plan, Frank has worked with employers throughout the State of New Mexico to provide group insurance benefits. Frank maintains an independent insurance agency and became affiliated with the Agency for the Professions in 2008.
